Oldsmobile 442

'69 442, numbers matching 400, Muncie M20 4spd, 3.42 12 bolt Anti-Spin (posi) axle. Silver on blue, this car was a barn find, it sat since the late 70s. I think the odometer reading of 70k is correct, it runs and shifts great. I bought it originally as a parts car to convert my other 442 to a 4spd. I have not been able to take this car apart as it is too original. I will part it out if I can't get $3000 out of it, but it would be nice to see someone save it.

It is a low option car, has Rally Pack, 4spd, posi, power steering, and not much else. The body is not as bad as it looks. The lower fenders and rockers are pretty good. The trunk floor is literally gone, the frame has surface rust but no visible holes, floors have some rust, but not gone.

The car starts, runs, and moves. I changed the oil and coolant, runs really smooth, but loud, exhaust rusted off, some of the brake lines are bad so it barely stops. I have driven it through all the gears and everything works surprisingly well.

The title was eaten by mice years ago, I found a couple tiny chunks in the glovebox but not enough to register it. You can easily get a bonded title through the Wisconsin DMV for a low cost.

It is missing the original drive shaft (still has one and moves under it's own power,) shift knob, air cleaner, and front bumper. Carb is not original, it has a '68 Olds 350 Quadrajet on it currently.

I don't "NEED" to sell it, no low ball offers will be considered. I can part it out for way more than my asking price. $3000/Firm.
